Being raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the 80’s, the culture was innovative and spontaneous, which has deeply influenced the way I approach my abstract, surrealistic work.

The authentic sounds of Philadelphia life through jazz and hip-hop had great impact on my artistic style, especially because so much of it reflected roots tied to the motherland, Africa.

My work is pretty unpredictable because I am ever evolving, like water. I capture the pure essence of human life through storytelling and painting from the rhythms of my heart.
